Job summary

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career- and customer-oriented Cybersecurity System Security Engineer (CSSE) - III in El Segundo, CA. The role supports SAPs, SSC, and AFSPC programs, delivering security across Collateral, SCI, and SAP environments to meet RMF/JSIG requirements in a full-time, on-site capacity.

You will lead a team of engineers and analysts, drive security governance, coordinate with DoD and industry partners, and work toward successful ATO milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline; 4 years of related experience may be substituted for degree.
• 12+ years of total experience, including 8+ years in an SCI or SAR environment.
• 4 years of direct SAP experience.
• Must meet DoD 8570.01-M/8140 IAT Level 3 and IAM Level 3 requirements within 6 months; CISSP recommended.
• Full understanding of RMF and JSIG for system accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of System Security Engineers and Certification Analysts ensuring national and international security interests are protected during acquisition system design and testing.
• Chair and co-chair customer and SAP community Cybersecurity working groups and participate in Systems Security Engineering IPT reviews.
• Oversee development, implementation, and evaluation of information system security program policies focusing on SAP network infrastructures.
• Provide expert consultation and technical services on all aspects of Information Security and system designs.
• Develop and provide Cybersecurity risk management recommendations, Program Protection Plans, and Cybersecurity Strategies for the customer.
• Assist with site activation activities, design reviews, and test and evaluation of systems.
• Collaborate with authorities to obtain system Authorization to Operate (ATO).
