Job summary

Wells Enterprises in Chicago is seeking a senior cybersecurity leader to guide strategy and operations, protect assets, and align priorities with enterprise goals. You will partner with IT leadership and business stakeholders to strengthen controls and enable secure operations.

You will oversee risk identification, incident response, vulnerability management, and training initiatives while building a high-performing team and delivering measurable security improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field; CISSP/CISM preferred.
• 10+ years in cybersecurity with leadership experience.
• Advanced knowledge of risks, controls, incident response, and security technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level leadership for cybersecurity programs and teams.
• Lead development of plans, standards, and priorities to protect assets.
• Oversee risk identification, assessment, and mitigation activities.
• Direct incident response coordination and recovery efforts.
• Set direction for awareness and training to promote secure practices.
• Manage projects, vendors, and security tool investments.
• Coach and develop a high-performing cybersecurity team.
