Job summary

LG Energy Solution Vertech, Inc. is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist III to join the enterprise security team. You will lead day-to-day security operations, including incident triage, SIEM tuning, vulnerability management, EDR, and AWS security, reporting to the Lead Cybersecurity Engineer.

The role spans multiple domains with autonomy in day-to-day tasks and collaboration on complex engineering and incident response. Open to qualified applicants within the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• AWS Certified Security – Specialty, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, GIAC, CompTIA CySA+ or Microsoft SC-200 preferred.
• Certification support is available.

Responsibilities

• Act as a first responder for security alerts and determine severity and response path.
• Investigate incidents to root cause using host, network, identity, and cloud log analysis.
• Document incidents with timeline, indicators, actions, findings for audits and customers.
• Containment and eradication steps under guidance; contribute to post-incident reviews.
• Participate in the security on-call rotation.
