Deloitte's Government & Public Services (GPS) Cyber Engineering team invites you to contribute to security solutions for Navy IT transformation programs. As a PROJECT - Security Engineer III, you will deliver programmatic and technical cybersecurity support across multiple projects, with a focus on mission-driven outcomes.

You will travel ~25%, be onsite in Suffolk, VA, and work under active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
• US work authorization without sponsorship now or in future.
• Willingness to travel 25% on average.
• Local to Suffolk, VA and onsite 5 days a week.
• 5+ years of cybersecurity, systems engineering, or IT program experience.
• 5+ years of requirements/gap analysis, risk assessments, or readiness evaluations.
• 3+ years of DoD or federal IT/cyber initiatives.
• 5+ years of vulnerability analysis and POA&M remediation.

Responsibilities

• Providing programmatic, technical, and cybersecurity support to Navy IT transformation efforts across multiple projects.
• Conducting strategic assessments, requirements and gap analysis, readiness evaluations, and risk assessments.
• Partnering with engineering, acquisition, and operational teams to translate mission needs into actionable requirements and practical solutions.
• Supporting operational cybersecurity activities, including vulnerability analysis, POA&M remediation planning, and cyber risk resolution.
• Liaising with FLTCYBERCOM and other Navy stakeholders to support delivery for Cyber Protection Teams and related systems.
