Job summary

GuidePoint Security is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to oversee a federal cybersecurity engineering contract with strict TS/SCI clearance requirements. The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, stakeholder coordination, and delivery of complex security services across SIEM/SOAR, IAM, cloud, and network security domains.

The position requires 7+ years in PM, 5+ years managing technical security teams, and PMP/Security+ credentials.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required for consideration.
• 7+ years of direct Project Management experience.
• 5+ years managing a technical cyber security team or operations.
• 5+ years managing a program with 10+ people.
• 5+ years in public sector/DOD/IC contract management.
• PMI PMP Certification and Security+ Certification required.
• Familiarity with ITIL standards and processes.
• Proficiency with MS Office, MS Project, Jira and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of cyber security engineers delivering projects using PM methodologies.
• Define project scope, costs, success criteria, dependencies, and constraints with stakeholders.
• Design and implement global technologies to meet federal business needs.
• Coordinate business requirements across regional partners and document integrations.
• Direct rollout of new functionality to federal agencies with SOPs and training.
• Develop metrics, reports, budgets and forecasts to show ROI.
• Communicate status to stakeholders and brief executives as needed.
