Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Consultant in our Cyber Data Protection and Privacy practice to manage client engagements, lead data security initiatives, and shape governance frameworks. You will define requirements, guide policy development, and implement encryption, PKI, and related security technologies across complex client environments.

Ideal candidates possess strong architecture experience, knowledge of data governance, and willingness to travel up to 40-60% for engagements across the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or graduate degree with related work experience.
• 3–5 years of data protection software integration experience.
• Knowledge of encryption, data lifecycle, and governance concepts.
• Experience with data discovery tools (Collibra, Informatica, BigID, Microsoft).

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagement teams on data security projects.
• Define technical and business requirements for data security solutions.
• Develop data security strategies and governance policies.
• Implement data security products such as encryption, PKI, data anonymization.
• Advise on data governance, data lifecycle management, and data discovery.
