Job summary

DMI is seeking a Senior Information Security Analyst, SME to provide expert guidance on cybersecurity operations, risk management, and regulatory compliance for a CDC program. The role entails partnering across infrastructure, identity management, and program leadership to strengthen security posture and respond to threats.

The successful candidate will lead security engineering, perform risk analyses, and drive Zero Trust and IAM initiatives while mentoring analysts and enhancing incident

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years cybersecurity experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Extensive knowledge of NIST RMF, FISMA, Zero Trust, IAM, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Experience supporting Windows and cloud environments.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GSLC, Security+, or GIAC; cloud security experience with Azure Defender and Sentinel.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical leadership for cybersecurity operations, risk management, and security engineering initiatives.
• Analyze security events, vulnerabilities, and emerging threats; coordinate investigation and response activities.
• Support the implementation of Zero Trust Architecture, identity security, and access management strategies.
• Perform security assessments, risk analyses, and compliance reviews per NIST and federal requirements.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to remediate vulnerabilities and strengthen security.
• Support incident response activities, forensic investigations, and post-incident reporting.
• Develop and maintain security documentation, policies, standards, and procedures.
• Evaluate security technologies and recommend improvements to enhance security and resilience.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to security analysts and project teams.
• Identify opportunities to automate security processes and improve cyber resilience.
