AEVEX Corp. in Tampa, FL is seeking a Senior Manager - Cybersecurity to lead cybersecurity across enterprise IT and defense program environments.

You will guide cloud, infrastructure, and endpoint security, oversee governance and risk, and collaborate with Engineering leaders to secure development pipelines for embedded and mission systems. The role combines hands-on leadership with strategic planning, requiring experience in aerospace/defense and familiarity with GCC High / AWS and Azure

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading cybersecurity programs across enterprise IT and defense environments.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security, identity management, and secure software delivery.
• Familiarity with RMF, NIST SP 800-171, and compliance requirements in aerospace/defense.

Responsabilités

• Lead a cybersecurity team spanning cloud, infrastructure, vulnerability management, and endpoint security.
• Develop a roadmap aligning cybersecurity with defense program requirements and business goals.
• Oversee security architecture across AWS/Azure, networks, endpoints, and identity systems.
• Direct incident response, investigations, and security improvements.
• Partner with Engineering and program leads to secure development environments and pipelines.
• Establish metrics to measure security effectiveness and risk reduction.
