Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking a Cybersecurity Implementation Engineer to join our engineering team in support of DoD customers.

The role builds, deploys, and maintains on-prem and cloud security infrastructure across Windows and Linux, leveraging AWS services and DoD-ready architectures.

You will lead security assessments, develop roadmaps, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure secure, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain a Polygraph.
• 6+ years of network/cybersecurity engineering experience in large-scale enterprise/global DoD-like environments.
• DoD 8140.01 and 8570.01-M IAT III and IASAE II certifications.
• CSSP Infrastructure Support certification within 120 days of start date.
• Expertise in NDR, EDR, NGFWs, IDS/IPS, and related security tech.
• Strong Windows and Linux server expertise.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, ability to present to senior management.
• Ability to work independently and lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, configure, and maintain on-premises and cloud-based cybersecurity infrastructure and apps on Windows and Linux.
• Engineer and implement cybersecurity solutions using AWS services and cloud architectures.
• Assist with research and implementation of enterprise cybersecurity capabilities to support customer goals.
• Evaluate changes and upgrades to address performance and best practices.
• Provide detailed guidance for hardware/software selection and deployment.
• Represent customer requirements in technical exchanges with government agencies and develop diagrams.
• Develop and maintain road maps for capabilities and technologies.
• Assist with test plans and documentation for network upgrades for customer approval.
• May serve as a team or task lead.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and assessors for security assessments and authorization.
