Job summary

E-Logic, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team supporting the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) under the SENTRY BPA.

You will design, implement, and maintain enterprise security controls that enforce Zero Trust across cloud, network, and endpoint environments. Responsibilities include security operations, architecture, IAM, threat detection, vulnerability management, and cloud security with a focus on NIST SP 800-53/800-207 compliance and Public Trust Tier 2

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to obtain a Public Trust Tier 2 clearance.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of enterprise cybersecurity engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory), MFA, SSO, PAM, RBAC, Conditional Access.
• Experience with Defender for Endpoint, EDR/XDR and Sentinel (SIEM).
• Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure) and hybrid environments; network segmentation.
• Knowledge of NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP 800-207 Zero Trust, and FISMA compliance.
• Experience supporting formal change management processes.

Responsibilities

• Security Operations: Implement, operate, and optimize enterprise security platforms across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments.
• Security Architecture: Enforce NIST SP 800-53 and 800-207 Zero Trust controls.
• Identity & Access Management: Configure authentication, authorization, RBAC, MFA; support PAM and conditional access.
• Threat Detection & Incident Response: Monitor and respond to security events using SIEM/EDR/XDR.
• Vulnerability Management: Coordinate patching and remediation across systems.
• Cloud Security: Secure AWS/Azure environments and secure integrations.
• Documentation: Maintain up-to-date security configurations and procedures.
