Job summary

Interclypse is seeking a senior cybersecurity leader to guide the design, deployment, and optimization of security solutions across large-scale environments. You will mentor engineers, drive security architecture initiatives, and oversee incident response during major cybersecurity events.

The role emphasizes Zero Trust implementation, AI/automation integration, and collaboration with state agencies in Maryland. On-site work across Maryland locations is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• At least eight (8) years of experience in systems or network engineering.
• Five (5) years of experience supervising system engineers and managing security engineering projects.
• Expertise with enterprise-scale security solutions and leading technical response during major cybersecurity incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for implementing and optimizing cybersecurity solutions and services.
• Lead complex projects, mentor junior engineers, and act as SME for security engineering and architecture.
• Drive operationalization of Zero Trust architectures and integration of AI/automation for threat detection and response.
