Interclypse in Maryland seeks a Senior IT Security Architect to lead the design and implementation of Zero Trust Architecture across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments. You will guide security strategy, mentor staff, and ensure alignment with NIST frameworks while delivering enterprise-grade solutions that safeguard critical systems and data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, CS, IS, Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years of experience planning, designing, building, and implementing IT systems.
• 7+ years in enterprise cybersecurity architectures; leadership in major IT security projects.
• Deep expertise in Zero Trust, cloud security, and NIST frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of a Zero Trust Architecture roadmap.
• Act as chief architect in major IT security initiatives and mentor junior staff.
• Provide technical guidance and communicate complex concepts clearly.
• Ensure alignment with government or organizational standards like NIST SP 800-207.
