Job summary

TekSynap seeks a Cybersecurity Engineer VI to support defense programs in a government contracting environment. The role emphasizes DoD and IC familiarity, security engineering across lifecycle phases, and collaboration with government customers to meet stringent security requirements.

Location includes Columbus, OH, with potential travel to Richmond, VA. Candidate must meet clearance standards and bring advanced certifications or recognized DCWF credentials.

Qualifications

• Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant IT experience.
• Four (4) years of maintaining Insider Threat solutions in a DoD environment.
• Experience supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts within federal environments (IC/DoD/ Federal Civil agencies).

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of routine project tasks applied to cybersecurity problems.
• Assists with integration of electronic processes or methodologies to resolve cybersecurity requirements.
• Analyzes information security requirements.
• Applies analytical and systematic approaches to problems of workflow, organization, and planning.
• Provides security-engineering support for planning, design, development, testing, and integration of information systems.
