Job summary

TekSynap is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer VII for Columbus, OH, with DoD experience and DCWF credentials. The role requires DoD security clearances and multiple DoD–aligned certifications. The candidate will support government contracts and security design, development, testing, and integration across programs.

The work environment includes on-site duties at Columbus/ Richmond VA locations, occasional travel, and a target salary range of $110,000–$165,000 with full benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant IT experience.
• Four (4) years of experience maintaining Comply to Connect solutions in a DoD environment.
• Experience supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts within federal environments.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of routine project tasks applied to specialized cybersecurity problems.
• Tasks involve integration of electronic processes or methodologies to resolve total system problems, or technology problems as they relate to cybersecurity requirements.
• Analyzes information security requirements.
• Applies analytical and systematic approaches in the resolution of problems of workflow, organization, and planning.
• Provides security-engineering support for planning, design, development, testing, demonstration, integration of information systems.
