Job summary

TENICA is seeking a senior cybersecurity engineering leader in Chantilly, VA to drive ATO readiness and RMF compliance for mission-critical systems. You will oversee security control implementation, risk assessment, and continuous monitoring across multiple domains.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance, deep technical leadership, and clear government-facing documentation and briefings for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting cybersecurity engineering, RMF processes, and A&A activities.
• Knowledge of RMF, ATO requirements, and security control assessment.
• Experience developing and maintaining security documentation and authorization packages.
• Understanding of system security architecture, vulnerability management, and risk assessment methodologies.
• Familiarity with NIST SP 800-53, RMF, and DoD/IC cybersecurity requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for cybersecurity engineering, A&A, and security compliance activities.
• Lead cybersecurity activities required to obtain and maintain Authority to Operate (ATO) approvals.
• Implement, assess, and maintain security controls to meet cybersecurity policies and compliance requirements.
• Develop and maintain RMF documentation, system security plans, and authorization packages.
• Identify, evaluate, mitigate cybersecurity vulnerabilities and risks affecting enterprise systems.
