Job summary

TENICA is seeking a highly skilled cybersecurity leader to support mission-critical systems in Chantilly, VA. You will guide A&A activities, implement RMF controls, and ensure Authority to Operate across the system lifecycle.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance, strong leadership, superb communication and thorough security documentation, with collaboration across DoD/IC environments and government stakeholders to sustain secure operations.

Qualifications

• Experience with cybersecurity engineering and A&A activities.
• RMF processes and ATO requirements knowledge.
• Knowledge of security control implementation, assessment, documentation, and continuous monitoring.
• Experience identifying vulnerabilities, evaluating cybersecurity risks, and coordinating remediation.
• Familiarity with DoD/IC cybersecurity standards and compliance requirements.
• Experience developing cybersecurity documentation and authorization packages.
• Understanding of system security architecture and risk assessment methodologies.
• Ability to coordinate with technical teams, government security personnel, and stakeholders.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for cybersecurity engineering, A&A, and security compliance activities.
• Lead cybersecurity activities to obtain and maintain ATO approvals throughout the lifecycle.
• Implement, assess, and maintain security controls for applicable policies and standards.
• Develop RMF documentation, SSPs, assessment artifacts, and authorization packages.
• Identify, evaluate, document, and mitigate cybersecurity vulnerabilities and risks.
• Coordinate security testing, vulnerability assessments, and remediation activities.
• Oversee continuous monitoring and ongoing accreditation efforts.
• Collaborate with system engineers, security representatives, and stakeholders to integrate cybersecurity requirements.
