Valiant Technologies LLC in Atlanta, GA seeks a Sr. Level CyberSecurity Engineer to act as Tier 3 escalation for incidents and manage security tools across the enterprise.

You will work with MSSPs, refine firewall rules, monitor CrowdStrike EDR and Proofpoint, and drive vulnerability management and threat hunting initiatives. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in cybersecurity, strong experience with CrowdStrike, Proofpoint, and Microsoft Security tools, plus hands‑on SIEM and cloud security

Formación

• 5+ years of hands‑on cybersecurity experience.
• CrowdStrike Falcon experience.
• Proofpoint Email Security experience.
• Microsoft Security Suite experience (Defender, Sentinel, Purview).
• SIEM platforms experience (Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar, Elastic).
• Experience with MSSPs and third‑party vendors.
• Strong knowledge of network, endpoint, and cloud security.
• Excellent analytical, communication and documentation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Act as Tier 3 escalation for security incidents and investigations.
• Manage and optimize security tools and platforms enterprise‑wide.
• Create, review, and troubleshoot Palo Alto firewall rulesets.
• Administer and monitor CrowdStrike EDR and Proofpoint Email Security.
• Operate SIEM platforms and tune alert use cases.
• Utilize Microsoft Defender/ Purview to secure cloud environments.
• Lead vulnerability management: scanning, prioritization, remediation, reporting.
• Coordinate with MSSPs to meet SLAs and quality standards.
• Conduct threat hunting, vulnerability assessments, risk analyses.
• Develop/runbooks and incident response procedures.
• Stay current with threats, vulnerabilities, and regulatory requirements.
