Quantum Technologies. LLC is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to act as Tier-3 escalation for incidents and investigations while managing security tools and firewall rules across the enterprise. You will administer CrowdStrike EDR, Proofpoint Email Security, and SIEM platforms, and work with MSSPs to meet SLAs.

Strong cloud security experience is required. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in cybersecurity and hands-on experience with Palo Alto, CrowdStrike, Proofpoint, and Microsoft security

• 5+ years in cybersecurity roles.
• Proficient with Palo Alto, CrowdStrike, Proofpoint, Microsoft security tools, and SIEM platforms.
• Experience working with MSSPs/third-party vendors and clients.

Mansioni

• Act as Tier 3 escalation point for security incidents and investigations.
• Manage and optimize security tools and platforms across the enterprise.
• Create, review, and troubleshoot Palo Alto Next-Gen Firewall rulesets.
• Administer and monitor CrowdStrike EDR and Proofpoint Email Security solutions.
• Operate and fine-tune SIEM platforms, including alert use case creation and optimization.
• Leverage Microsoft Cloud Security Tools to secure cloud environments.
• Lead the Vulnerability Management program, including scanning and remediation coordination.
• Collaborate with MSSPs, ensuring SLAs and quality standards.
• Conduct threat hunting, vulnerability assessments, and risk analysis.
• Develop and maintain security documentation, runbooks, and incident response procedures.
• Stay current with emerging threats and regulatory requirements.
