Job summary

Stellar Solutions in El Segundo, CA is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to advance next‑generation space sensing capabilities for a Government customer. You will assess cybersecurity risk across space, ground, and hardware systems and help identify vulnerabilities early in development.

The role involves testing, analysis, and coordination with stakeholders to strengthen mission resilience. A Secret clearance is required, with TS/SCI desired, and compensation ranges up to $145k annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; DoD 8140 Level II certification required (e.g., Security+).
• Experience with Risk Management Framework and cybersecurity risk assessments.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, privacy, networking concepts, and network security methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Support cybersecurity engineering activities across space, ground, and hardware systems.
• Provide input to Risk Management Framework activities and documentation.
• Plan and execute Mission Based Cyber Risk Assessments and Cyber.
• Develop threat scenarios for cyber test events (Cyber Table Top).
• Analyze cybersecurity architectures and network diagrams for vulnerabilities and mitigation needs.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to integrate cybersecurity into system development.
• Identify cybersecurity risks and communicate findings to stakeholders.
