iP-Plus Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer 5 to tackle a range of cybersecurity challenges within DoD environments.

The role emphasizes security-focused design, integration, and testing across information systems. The candidate should hold required DoD clearances and multiple cybersecurity certifications, with extensive IT experience and a background in vulnerability management and defense-infrastructure tasks.

Qualifications

• Seven (7) years of relevant IT experience.
• DOD Secret Clearance.
• IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3).
• 8140 Baseline Certification: Primary DCWF Work Role 521: Cyber Defense Infrastructure Support - Proficiency Level: Intermediate.
• Candidate must possess one of the following certifications: CEH, Cloud+, CySA+, PenTest+, SSCP, Security+, and GSEC.
• Note: higher or advanced GIAC or CISSP concentrations also satisfy the intermediate requirement.
• 8140 Baseline Certification for Primary DCWF Secondary DCWF Work Role 451: System Administrator - Proficiency Level: Intermediate.
• Candidate must possess one the following certifications: CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Cloud+; GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC).
• Computing Environment Certification: ACAS Administrator.
• Four (4) years of experience maintaining Vulnerability scanning solutions in a DOD environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine tasks applied to cybersecurity problems and analyze information security requirements.
• Provide security-engineering support for planning, design, development, testing, demonstration and integration of information systems.
• Apply analytical and systematic approaches to resolve workflow, organization, and planning problems in cybersecurity contexts.
