Job summary

lululemon is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to lead security initiatives, design and operate enterprise security controls, and mentor junior engineers. The role partners with product and engineering teams to embed security into design, enforce policies, and drive improvements across detection, prevention and monitoring.

This position requires hands-on coding in Java, Python and JavaScript, plus AWS experience, and strong threat modeling and incident response capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, cybersecurity, or related field; security certification preferred.
• 6–10 years leading security engineering initiatives at scale or equivalent.
• Experience implementing enterprise security controls and centralized authentication/authorization at scale.
• Track record of building security platforms and SDKs; experience with secure code review practices.
• Demonstrated ability to lead advanced threat modeling for complex systems and to own investigations with deep root cause analysis.
• Working knowledge of Java, Python, and JavaScript; understanding of AWS services and concepts (S3, EC2, Lambda, VPC).
• Experience with IAST/DAST/SAST tools and security analysis in a microservices landscape.

Responsibilities

• Build enterprise security systems implementing centralized authentication and organization-wide controls.
• Lead threat modeling and security assessments for complex systems; influence secure design decisions early in development.
• Own end-to-end response for complex security incidents; perform root cause analysis and long-term improvements to detection and monitoring.
• Develop security code, tools, and libraries including security automation platforms, scanners, detectors, and SDKs.
• Establish secure coding standards, review requirements, and implementation quality.
