Everforth Apex Systems is seeking an IT Engineer-Level 3 - Senior to bridge enterprise security strategy with OT environments in an onsite role at Juno Beach, FL. You will partner with IT, OT, and business units to identify risks, translate requirements into programs, and manage remediation efforts.

The ideal candidate has 11–15 years in cybersecurity engineering/architecture, hands-on with WAF, SIEM, and risk management, and holds relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 11–15 years leading enterprise network projects, cybersecurity initiatives, and risk management.
• Hands-on experience with WAF, NGFW, SIEM, and vulnerability management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Serve as cybersecurity liaison for assigned business units translating policies into controls.
• Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability reviews, and security posture evaluations.
• Lead or support security initiatives including WAF/firewall configurations and IAM reviews.
• Represent the business unit in change management and security governance forums.
• Coordinate with SIEM, network security, and application security platforms.
• Support merger and acquisition integration including network segmentation and baselines.
• Develop and maintain security policies, runbooks, and remediation plans.
• Present risk posture and program status to senior management.
