Overview
Job Title: IT - Cyber Security Architect/Engineer III
Operational Technology (OT) Asset Visibility and Security Engineer and Database Developer (On-site support required at Merrifield, VA).
Responsibilities
- Implement cybersecurity strategies protecting the digital network, connected OT assets, hosted applications and data, and employees within the OT environment supporting critical and package handling systems.
- Develop and curate a proprietary database system managing asset details of proprietary systems leveraged by automation for identifying assets observed within the environment.
- Support large enterprise IT environments with OT security experience, including asset visibility solutions and OT hardware/software asset management security efforts.
- Contribute to network access control, USB device control, vulnerability management, and security event investigation support.
- Documented enterprise-based experience as a Forescout CounterAct administrator and Forescout Engineering certification.
- Design, implement, and maintain proprietary database instances and leverage them for automation purposes.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of OT security experience in a large enterprise IT environment.
- Strong knowledge of asset visibility solutions for OT hardware and software asset management.
- Experience with Forescout CounterAct (administrator) and Forescout Engineering certification.
- Experience with tools such as Forescout, Armis Centrix, and Splunk; knowledge of Windows and Linux system administration; database design and implementation.
- Communication skills (oral and written), ability to interpret flowcharts, and ability to build & maintain schedules and step-by-step action plans.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to positively influence peers and stakeholders.
- Relevant technical certifications (preferred): CISSP, CISA, CISM, GIAC, RHCE, CPTE, or CEH.
Experience
- A minimum of eight (8) to twelve (12) years of relevant experience.
- A degree from an accredited college/university in a related field; if not, four additional years of related experience may be required.
- Typically performs all functional duties independently.
Education
- Accredited degree in computer science, information systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
