Job summary

NetJets seeks a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer (GRC) to join its Cybersecurity Services team in Columbus, OH. This hands-on role designs, builds, and maintains security tooling, automates workflows, and analyzes large datasets to protect enterprise systems.

Ideal candidates write code, integrate APIs, and automate security processes with a focus on secure-by-design practices across applications and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or IT required; CISSP certification preferred.
• 4–6 years of cybersecurity experience, hands-on engineering focus.
• Strong coding, debugging, testing, and tooling development skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software-based security solutions and tooling.
• Perform hands-on development and scripting to integrate security platforms via APIs and cloud services.
• Build dashboards, parsers, and workflows for real-time monitoring and analytics.
• Research and prototype new security technologies for scalable use.
• Conduct social engineering exercises to assess risk and improve controls.
• Provide incident response support with scripting and tooling during investigations.
• Collaborate with IT to embed secure-by-design practices in apps and infrastructure.
• Stay current on attacks, vulnerabilities, and defensive engineering patterns.
