Octus is hiring a hands-on Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to own the security technology that protects employees, endpoints, and enterprise systems. You’ll harden settings in business systems and lead IT and enterprise security across cloud, application, incident response, vendor risk, and audits.

You’ll contribute to securing AI tools (Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT) at scale, work with a small team, and gain broad exposure across the security program.

Competenze

• 6+ years in cybersecurity or security-focused IT engineering.
• Hands-on experience running EDR and MDM tools across Mac and Windows fleets.
• Strong knowledge of identity platforms like Okta or Entra ID, including SSO, MFA, and conditional access.
• Experience hardening SaaS platforms such as Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.
• Experience with SSE or secure web gateway tools, and with DLP.
• Experience tuning a SIEM and responding to security incidents.
• Familiarity with SOC 2, NIST CSF, and GDPR and related controls.
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell; comfortable with REST APIs.
• Clear writing and speaking with technical and non-technical people.
• Ability to work across many areas on a small team.

• Own the security tool lifecycle: tune policies, upgrades, integrations.
• Manage endpoint security across Mac and Windows using Defender, Intune, Jamf Pro.
• Oversee Netskope policies for web, SaaS, and DLP.
• Harden identity in Okta and Entra ID including SSO, MFA, CA, admin reviews.
• Enforce security in Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian, and other SaaS apps.
• Manage email security with Abnormal Security and Google controls.
• Support secrets management in 1Password.
• Harden AI tools like Claude, Gemini, and ChatGPT with proper controls.
