Job summary

Freedom Technology Solutions Group seeks a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to lead and mature defensive cyber operations across the organization. You will design, implement, and manage cybersecurity infrastructure, while briefing executives and guiding resource priorities.

The role emphasizes DoD-aligned processes, threat intelligence, and MITRE ATT&CK mapping to counter threats in enterprise environments. This position requires TS/SCI, DoD certifications, and leadership experience.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in CS or Cyber Security with 8+ years of cyber field experience; degree could be substituted by experience.
• Must have TS/SCI with polygraph capability; CI poly is acceptable.
• Must hold DoD 8140.01/8570.01-M IAT II and CSSP Infrastructure certifications.
• Understanding of SOC-CMM, C2M2, and ODNI policies relevant to DoD ATO.
• Experience in cloud adoption for IC/DoD, including hybrid environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and maintenance of cybersecurity infrastructure.
• Oversee security of networks, data, and systems; respond to breaches and ensure compliance.
• Provide briefings to executive leadership and craft security white papers.
• Develop and execute cybersecurity strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Mentor staff, monitor performance, and guide resource prioritization.
• Conduct AoA, design studies, and assess cybersecurity measures for gaps.
