General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to provide technical leadership across CSSP and DCO missions, guiding analysts, engineers, and responders to meet tight timelines and strengthen defensive capabilities against advanced adversaries.

The role requires 7+ years in cybersecurity or cyber operations, a Bachelor’s degree, and a Secret clearance (Top Secret preferred).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of cybersecurity engineering or cyber operations experience in DoD or federal environments.
• Secret clearance required; Top Secret preferred.
• Experience leading incident response, threat hunting, vulnerability management, or forensic analysis teams.
• Strong knowledge of RMF and DoD cybersecurity requirements.

Responsabilités

• Provide senior technical authority across incident response, cyber defense, threat hunt, forensics, vulnerability management, and threat emulation.
• Oversee 24/7 cyber defense monitoring, detection, and incident classification to meet MTTR requirements.
• Lead development of analytics, rulesets, and countermeasures for CSSP toolsets.
• Support RMF lifecycle activities including SSP updates and audit readiness.
• Develop dashboards and data pipelines in Elastic/SIEM environments.
