Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 12+ years of cybersecurity experience, preferably in banking/financial services.
• Experience with External Attack Surface Management (EASM) platforms.
• Experience with detection engineering and SOAR.
• Hands-on experience with Breach and Attack Simulation or Continuous Security Validation tools.
• Proficiency in scripting for automation (Python, PowerShell).
• Experience designing and executing attack scenarios and analyzing results.
• Strong knowledge of NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, and D3FEND.
• Familiarity with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and PKI/TLS hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Breach and Attack Simulation (BAS) tools to conduct realistic cyberattack simulations.
• Analyze simulation results to identify weaknesses in security controls and provide actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with security analysts to adjust alerts and rules based on simulation findings.
• Participate in red, purple, and blue team exercises to evaluate security posture.
• Maintain documentation of methodologies, procedures, and results, communicating findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Engage in advanced threat hunting and intelligence to inform attack scenarios and identify emerging threats.
