Job summary

Hyliion is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to own Hyliion's day-to-day cybersecurity posture across identity, endpoints, cloud, and AI governance in a Microsoft-centric environment.

You will maintain the SSP for a CMMC Level 2 enclave, sustain NIST 800-171 compliance, and coordinate with Red Canary MDR. The role emphasizes zero-trust, vulnerability management, and security policy across Hyliion's SaaS footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of IT experience with a focus on cybersecurity operations and compliance.
• CISSP, CISM, Security+, AZ-500, or similar security certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own Hyliion's day-to-day cybersecurity posture across identity, endpoints, cloud, and AI governance.
• Maintain SSP and controls for CMMC Level 2 enclave with NIST 800-171 compliance.
• Administer Entra ID CA, Identity Protection, and PIM for least-privilege access.
• Oversee endpoint security, patching, EDR, and device compliance across platforms.
• Lead MDR partnership coordination, threat intel reviews, and incident response.
• Manage MDM/Intune enrollment and device management across BYOD and corporate devices.
• Govern SaaS footprint security, SSPM, OAuth reviews, and shadow IT risk.
• Monitor and update security policies; support audits and cyber insurance questionnaires.
