AltaMed Health Services seeks a Senior IT Security Engineer to identify and implement security controls, manage threat detection, and guide incident response across the organization. You will lead security projects and collaborate with multiple teams to enforce policy and protect systems.

The role requires 5+ years in IT security with 3 years in a lead role, and active security credentials. Salary ranges from $110,539.52 to $138,174.40 annually with potential bonuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field.
• 5 years of progressive IT security experience.
• 3 years in a lead role with architecture design and implementation.
• Active information security credential (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GIAC/SANS, Palo Alto PCNSE, CyberArk CDE, SailPoint Certified Engineer, Microsoft Security Associate, or Cisco CCNA/CCNP Security/XDR specialist)
