We are seeking an experienced Senior Cyber Security Engineer (CSE3) to support a large support services contract with the Naval Sea Systems Command.
You will provide support to the Program and Deputy Program Manager of a 200 person contractor team that includes subcontractor personnel.
The government work location is the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC. Contractors will be required to work at the Navy Yard and in nearby office locations up to 5 days a week. Teleworking may be possible with the customers’ approval, but will need to evolve as the work relationships evolve.
A cybersecurity engineer protects an organization’s digital assets, networks, and systems from cyberattacks, breaches, and unauthorized access. They design and implement security infrastructure—such as firewalls and encryption—monitor for threats, conduct vulnerability assessments, and respond to security incidents. This role combines IT expertise with proactive, defensive security strategies.
