Job summary

Det-Tronics, a global leader in industrial life safety, seeks a Senior Cybersecurity Compliance Engineer to lead certification projects and ensure product compliance with cybersecurity standards. You will work with the Approvals Engineering Team to analyze, document, and test products for certification, and advise on security controls across ongoing and new developments.

Remote work is possible from the US or Canada.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
Minimum 5 years in industry experience.
Minimum 5 years hands-on firmware development experience.
Minimum 3 years cybersecurity engineering experience.

Responsibilities

Interpret applicable Cybersecurity standards and apply requirements to products.
Serve as business unit SME on Cybersecurity compliance including IEC 62443.
Develop certification strategies to meet product requirements.
Collaborate with development teams to derive cybersecurity requirements.
Communicate and implement a cybersecurity strategy and roadmap for IEC 62443 compliance.
Provide guidance on cybersecurity concerns and security controls.
Evaluate and implement cybersecurity compliance plans for existing and new products.
Refine and review product cybersecurity requirements for implementability and testability.
Utilize cybersecurity evaluation tools and processes to ensure product cybersecurity.
