Job summary

Inductive Automation LLC seeks a Security and Compliance Lead to define and document SDLC standards ensuring regulatory obligations are met. You will own IEC 62443 alignment, CVD/incidence processes, and audits, guiding engineers in compliant practices while not implementing technical measures.

Qualifications

• Technical Bachelor's Degree required (computer science, engineering, software development, or cybersecurity)
• Master's degree or demonstrated equivalent experience
• Cybersecurity certification or equivalent demonstrated experience (CISSP, GICSP, or ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Expert)
• 8 years experience required; 15+ years preferred
• Extensive security or compliance audit experience (ISO Lead Auditor or equivalent)
• Experience with policy and process documentation; delivering software in controlled or regulated environments
• Incidents, CVE lifecycle, and vulnerability disclosure program experience

Responsibilities

• Serving as subject matter expert for IEC 62443 certifications and aligning standards with Inductive Automation practice
• Monitoring practice changes to prevent compliance drift and supporting corrective actions
• Tracking security roadmap and EU CRA product-level requirements
• Supporting external security and compliance requirements across sectors
• Participating in ISO and CRA conformity audits and maintaining auditable evidence
• Coordinating third-party penetration testing and integrating results into SDLC tickets
• Maintaining SDLC process documents and mapping standards to QMS documentation
• Verifying Release Checklist as compliance evidence for production software
• Managing CVD and incident management program in coordination with stakeholders
• Maintaining Incident Manager qualification and driving lessons learned into training
• Supporting ENISA reporting per EU CRA compliance
• Running readiness checks and identifying training gaps with leadership
• Consulting on Threat Modeling and related activities
