Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to lead the compliance posture for the Agentic AI platform. The role focuses on authoring and maintaining System Security Plans (SSPs), policies, SOPs, and RMF/ATO processes.

You will coordinate evidence collection, manage POA&M, and act as the primary contact for internal auditors and external assessors, ensuring narratives match implemented systems.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD with significant experience in security compliance or related roles.
• Deep experience aligning SSPs to NIST 800-171/800-53 and ATO processes.
• Proven track record supporting audits, assessments, and POA&M management.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the written compliance posture of the Agentic AI platform.
• Author, update, and evolve SSPs and related compliance artifacts for ATO support.
• Manage POA&M, track remediation, and coordinate evidence collection.
• Coordinate with auditors, assessors, and compliance stakeholders.
• Ensure control narratives accurately reflect implemented infrastructure and practices.
• Drive policy libraries, SOPs, and documentation quality across the program.
