Job summary

AnaVation, a leader in solving complex technical challenges for the U.S. Federal Intelligence Community, seeks a seasoned Cyber Security Architect/Engineer for a San Antonio, TX role.

You will provide technical leadership to monitor, analyze, and detect cyber events, and oversee DoD IA architectures across computing and enclave environments. Responsibilities include integrating RMF/ATO/cATO, Zero Trust, and cloud-native security into SAFe/DevSecOps, coordinating with Government stakeholders, and

Qualifications

• TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly in the last 5 years.
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, CS, IT, software engineering, cloud computing, or related field.
• One or more certifications: CISSP, CCSP, AWS Security Specialty or DoD 8140 equivalent.
• Full-time on-site in San Antonio, TX.
• Nine+ years in DoD cybersecurity or cloud security missions.

Responsibilities

• Lead cyber security engineering for mission critical software factories and cloud-native environments.
• Coordinate with security and government points of contact to sync cloud security across sprint cadences.
• Collaborate with Government, DevSecOps, ISSMs/ISSEs/ISSOs, COT and CPT to integrate cybersecurity into SDLC.
• Implement and maintain RMF/ATO/cATO security controls and evidence.
• Apply Zero Trust and cloud security controls within SAFe and DevSecOps workflows.
• Maintain Body of Evidence for ATOs and continuous authorization.
• Oversee artifact review, vulnerability remediation, and automated scanning results.
• Design cloud security solutions for Kubernetes, OpenShift, IaC, and pipelines.
• Support vulnerability management, STIGs, and continuous monitoring.
• Develop executive briefings, security metrics, and risk assessments.
