Job summary

Trinnex is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join the Security Team, focusing on securing the software development lifecycle and embedding security controls in DevSecOps for water infrastructure software. You will analyze threats, manage vulnerabilities, and guide secure coding practices across teams.

You’ll apply threat detection, incident response, and cloud-native security strategies to strengthen the organization's security posture while supporting essential public sector projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 6 years of cybersecurity experience.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced security monitoring and develop custom monitoring rules to detect threats.
• Lead response efforts for complex incidents (e.g., APTs, data breaches), including forensic analysis.
• Design and execute vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and simulated attack scenarios across infrastructure and applications.
• Partner with IT and software development teams to remediate vulnerabilities and strengthen secure coding practices within the SDLC.
• Perform detailed reviews of security controls and compliance with regulatory frameworks; lead remediation efforts.
• Research advanced threat actors and develop forward-looking threat intelligence and defense strategies.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to team capability development.
• Support development and execution of enterprise security strategies aligned with business objectives.
