Eccalon is seeking a Cyber Expert to drive cybersecurity strategy and compliance advisory across enterprise and government programs from onsite Detroit, MI. You will guide customers and delivery teams with advanced technical leadership and risk-based recommendations.

Candidates bring 8–15+ years of cybersecurity experience, CISSP/CISM or equivalent, and a proven track record in risk, controls, and executive communication. This full-time role offers growth and impact on mission-critical programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
• 8-15+ years of cybersecurity experience with senior-level responsibility.
• Proven expertise in cybersecurity compliance, risk, and technical controls.
• Strong ability to communicate risk and strategy to executive audiences.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.
• Prior experience as Cyber Advisor, Cyber SME, or Security Architect.
• Experience supporting proposals, customer strategy, or cyber advisory programs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior Cyber SME across compliance, architecture, and risk domains.
• Lead cybersecurity assessments, gap analyses, and risk evaluations.
• Provide expert recommendations to executives and customers on cybersecurity posture.
• Lead and oversee initiatives supporting CMMC, NIST, and federal compliance frameworks.
• Review and validate SSPs, POA&Ms, and compliance artifacts.
• Guide teams through readiness, remediation strategies, and sustainment.
