Job summary

Eccalon, LLC is seeking a Senior Director of Information Technology to lead IT strategy, security programs, and enterprise technology initiatives. This onsite Detroit role will align IT with business objectives and drive cost-effective technology solutions across data management and integrity.

The position requires extensive experience in cybersecurity, risk management, and leadership, with a focus on compliance, automation, and vendor coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field.
• 10+ years in IT incl. infrastructure, systems, security.
• 5+ years in IT leadership with enterprise scope.
• 5+ years with NIST 800-171/800-172 in regulated environments.
• Demonstrated expertise in enterprise cybersecurity programs.
• Experience with DoD/DOE contracts and federal requirements.
• Ability to travel to multiple locations as needed.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee IT strategy and security programs.
• Develop and implement cybersecurity controls and DR plans.
• Lead risk and vulnerability management across enterprise.
• Coordinate penetration testing with vendors.
• Manage Microsoft 365 suite and collaborations.
• Lead cross-functional IT and cybersecurity initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with NIST standards.
• Provide executive IT leadership and planning.
