Job summary

Ryan Specialty is seeking an experienced Underwriter to support brokers and market eRisk products in New York. You will underwrite and process quotes, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations while maintaining accurate policy documentation and servicing existing accounts.

Ideal candidates will have 6+ years in insurance or underwriting, strong cyber/E&O knowledge, and proficiency with Word, Excel, and email systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 6+ years of relevant insurance/underwriting experience.
• Knowledge of cyber insurance and technology E&O products.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, email and web-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Market and support brokers to promote Ryan Specialty’s eRisk products.
• Underwrite and process quotes, new business, renewals, endorsements and cancellations.
• Prepare and issue policy documents for the eRisk department.
• Manage in-force accounts and provide ongoing policy servicing.
• Coordinate with brokers, accounting and marketing to resolve policy questions.
