Job summary

PwC IT Services (US) LLC is seeking a Cyber Threat Response Senior Associate in Cybersecurity Incident Management. You will play a vital role in protecting organizations from cyber threats using advanced technologies and proactive incident response.

In this role you will detect, investigate, and neutralize threats, coordinate with the SOC, and help drive recovery while upholding professional standards and ethics in a complex, client-facing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity or related field.
• Working knowledge in cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, and threat intelligence.
• Experience in incident management, incident remediation, and incident response planning.
• Strong analytical thinking and technical communication skills.
• Ability to adapt and embrace the changing threat landscape.
• Incident Response skills including host/network forensics, log analysis, and timeline correlation.

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, and resolve security incidents to minimize potential damage and protect against future attacks.
• Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies and threat mitigation measures.
• Conduct forensic investigations and digital forensics to support incident management.
• Utilise endpoint forensics and threat detection techniques to enhance security operations.
• Collaborate with the Security Operations Centre (SOC) to manage security incidents effectively.
• Interpret data to inform insights and recommendations, contributing to cybersecurity governance.
• Uphold and reinforce professional and technical standards, including the Firm's code of conduct and independence requirements.
• Use a broad range of tools, methodologies, and techniques to generate new ideas and solve problems.
• Acts with integrity, empathy, and diligence in the execution of the role of an Incident Response manager and analyst.
