Job summary

MITRE in Bedford, MA seeks a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst with deep expertise in networking, intelligence, and cybersecurity to design and deliver mission-critical solutions for national security.

The role requires 10+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree (8+ years with a Master’s; 5+ years with a PhD), an active Top Secret/SCI clearance, and an on-site schedule five days a week. You will evaluate methodologies, support operations, and communicate findings to senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years’ experience; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
• Experience with analyzing raw threat intelligence from one or more collection disciplines (ex. SIGINT, HUMINT, GEOINT, etc.) in support of operations and/or analysis.
• Understanding of computer networks and the OSI model, spanning hardware, software, and networking components, including how data flows and is secured across all layers.
• Must have an active Top Secret/SCI U.S Government issued Security Clearance.
• This position has an on‑site requirement of 5 days a week on-site.
• Experience with intelligence community analytic and requirements tools.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating existing methodologies and developing recommendations for improved processes, tools, analytics, and infrastructure
• Identifying and leveraging capabilities from across MITRE that enable the sponsor to measurably increase mission impact
• Supporting intelligence collection operations by partnering closely with Sponsor leaders to apply human and technological capabilities that enable successful operational/mission outcomes
• Conveying technical, analytic, and organizational findings, recommendations, and approaches to senior decision makers and mission partners.
