Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Cyber Threat Analyst to join the I/R team and support the CISO in adversary mitigation. The role emphasizes analysis of cyber events, threat intelligence, and cross-functional collaboration with engineers and security teams.

The successful candidate will analyze logs, host/network data, and PCAPs, prepare concise briefings, and contribute to threat dashboards and risk assessments.

Competenze

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with a BS in Science (or 3 with MS, 1 with PhD).
• Ability to obtain/maintain U.S. Government Top Secret clearance.
• Experience with two or more analysis tools used in SOC/CIRT environments.
• At least 2 years of log data analysis for intrusion/cyber operations.
• Min 4 years experience with Python, PowerShell, or similar scripting.

• Use applications/tools to triage cyber events and perform log/PCAP data analysis.
• Prepare detailed written analyses and briefings for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Conduct all-source research on threat actors and intrusion sets.
• Support analytic products to increase situational awareness and report on TTPs and indicators.
