Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. in Maryland is seeking a Senior Principal Cyber Threat Analyst to join the I&R team supporting the CISO and Global Cybersecurity organization. You will analyze threat activity, develop countermeasures, and contribute to protecting critical assets.

The role requires TS/SCI with polygraph, strong scripting skills (Python/Perl), and experience with CIRT tools. You will brief senior management and collaborate across teams on multi-tier threat mitigation.

Qualifications

• 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's in Science; OR 6 years with a Masters; OR 4 years with a PhD.
• Current U.S. Government Top Secret clearance, including SCI access and recent polygraph.
• Able to prepare and analyze data and figures.
• Experience with two or more analysis tools used in a CIRT or similar investigative environment.
• Minimum 4 years of experience with Python, Perl or other scripting language.

Responsibilities

• Analytical triage and prioritization of concurrent cyber events, log analysis, and root-cause analysis.
• Independently generate customized scripts to facilitate analysis and prepare detailed written analyses.
• Brief findings to technical and non-technical senior management audiences.
