Job summary

Fiserv in New Jersey seeks a Cyber Tech Operations Level 2 Engineer to provide senior operational engineering support across production and hybrid environments. You will handle escalated incidents, validate operational readiness, and build repeatable processes for Level 1 teams.

You will work with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, and container technologies, while mentoring cross-functional teams to ensure service reliability and proactive monitoring.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in platform engineering or operations.
• 3+ years in Windows, Linux, and Mac environments.
• 3+ years supporting cloud or hybrid infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• 3+ years scripting with PowerShell, Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform.
• 3+ years ticketing, incident management, change coordination, problem management.
• 3+ years Jira/Confluence usage for runbooks and workflows.
• 3+ years ITIL or related governance practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced operational support for cybersecurity platforms and services, including production support and incident triage.
• Investigate and resolve escalated platform issues across dependencies and monitoring workflows.
• Act as Incident Manager during major incidents, coordinating responses and post-incident reviews.
• Develop and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides for Level 1 teams.
• Collaborate with Level 1/1.5, owners, and engineering to improve readiness and reduce issues.
• Validate monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and service ownership for new services.
• Support cloud and hybrid operations across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and containers.
