Job summary

Vantage Risk Ltd. in Chicago is seeking a Senior AVP, Underwriter – Cyber to underwrite complex Cyber, Tech E&O, and Media accounts, applying independent judgment on larger risks while mentoring junior underwriters.

You will manage broker relationships, drive growth initiatives, and lead cross-functional collaboration to deliver outcomes. A four-year degree and 5+ years in insurance underwriting with cyber specialization are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related insurance underwriting experience, with a focus on Cyber, Tech E&O, or Media.
• Proven leadership experience with a focus on growing and developing team members to drive outstanding results.
• Established network of broker and client contacts in the Chicago Metro area.

Responsibilities

• Meet profitability, retention, and written premium goals for an assigned portfolio of complex accounts.
• Exercise independent underwriting judgment within a senior authority and maintain proper file documentation.
• Articulate the Vantage value proposition and maintain knowledge of products and services.
