Job summary

Cornerstone Defense LLC is seeking a Systems Engineer (Cyber) to support senior cyber leadership across US government programs. The role involves evaluating technologies, supporting acquisition activities, and engaging with industry and academia between the Pentagon and Mark Center in Arlington, VA.

The ideal candidate has a STEM degree with extensive experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to coordinate cross‑functional cyber capabilities and partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 12+ years of experience or Master’s degree in STEM with 10+ years of experience.
• Ability to interface with senior government, military, and industry leaders.
• Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical analysis and coordination for senior cyber leadership across ASW Cyber, DPCA, and USCYBERCOM.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and map solutions to PCA and Department requirements.
• Coordinate industry engagement activities and support acquisition planning and logistics.
