Job summary

Computer World Services supports the Air Force Cyber Assessment Team (AFCAT) in the 688th Cyberspace Wing, conducting CORA to harden DoWIN infrastructure and strengthen cyber defenses across global locations. The role emphasizes Windows, endpoint security, network vulnerability, and auditing to ensure compliance and effective cyber defense strategies.

Travel is required (6–7 weeks per year common); candidates should hold an active Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and be prepared to obtain

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) plus 5 years of experience, or 8+ years of related experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Determine technology focus areas for training with supervisor.
• Obtain required certifications (e.g., SFPC) and complete assessments.
• Keep certifications up to date with a minimum of 4 assessments per technology area per fiscal year.
• Use DCDC JFHQ-DODIN standard processes and procedures.
• Stay informed on Air Force priorities to inform base selection for CORAs.
• Advocate for access to enterprise assets to prepare for CORA.
• Support daily assessment meetings and provide summaries to leadership.
• Complete STIG assessment checklists as required.
• Participate in teleconferences with base leadership to identify issues.
