Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Consultant in Cyber Strategy to evaluate cybersecurity programs, craft practical governance and risk frameworks, and develop roadmaps aligned with business goals. You’ll lead interviews, synthesize findings, and present actionable recommendations to executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and approximately 3–5 years of relevant experience; or a graduate degree with 2–4 years of experience.
• Experience in cybersecurity assessments, governance, risk management, strategy, and roadmap development.
• Knowledge of frameworks such as NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001/27002, CIS Controls, PCI DSS.
• Strong PowerPoint, Excel, and Word skills; willingness to travel 25–50%.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cybersecurity strategy and transformation engagements for clients.
• Evaluate programs, governance structures, policies, and risk management against industry practices.
• Develop target operating models, governance frameworks, and maturity roadmaps.
• Prepare client deliverables, executive presentations, and reports for diverse audiences.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior staff, and contribute to business development.
