Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an experienced Cyber Solutions Architect to lead visioning, architecture, and delivery of strategic cybersecurity solutions for federal civilian clients in the Washington, DC area.

The role requires extensive leadership across complex IT environments, strong experience with COTS security software, and collaboration with senior government leaders. Applicants should hold an active TS/SCI clearance and be able to obtain DoD 8570 certifications within 30 days.

Qualifications

• 8+ years leading teams across federal civilian IT environments as a solutions architect.
• 5+ years designing, developing, configuring, and delivering COTS software for enterprise security.
• 5+ years interfacing with senior government (GS-15, CISO, CIO, technical directors).
• 3+ years managing technical integration and solution delivery for federal civilian clients.
• 2+ years of IT security operations, including information assurance assessment.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust, NIST 800-207, and DoD Zero Trust Reference Architecture.
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
• HS diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain required DoD certifications within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, development, and implementation of strategic cyber solutions.
• Collaborate with government clients and industry partners to translate complex requirements into cyber solutions.
• Develop intellectual capital and drive proposal efforts for new business areas.
• Guide integration and delivery across federal civilian projects during implementation.
