Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect to lead architecture and design of innovative security solutions for federal networks. You will guide delivery teams, align with CIO/CTO priorities, and shape cybersecurity roadmaps across IoT, cloud, IAM, and AI domains.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance, DoD 8570 IAT III/IASAE II certifications, and strong collaboration with senior leadership to mature cybersecurity capabilities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of cybersecurity experience.
• 5+ years leading technical project delivery for large, complex organizations.
• 5+ years of experience in network architecture and design.
• Experience architecting Zero Trust solutions aligned with industry standards (including NIST 800-207 and DoD ZT).
• Experience leading product selection initiatives (perimeter defense, zero trust, A&O, AI, analytics, secure DevOps, IAM, or network access control).
• Ability to work with senior leaders (CISO, CIO, CTO) and executives to ideate and execute cybersecurity capabilities maturation.
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level III and IASAE Level II certifications (e.g., Security+ or CISSP).
• Ability to obtain CSSP-IS certification (CEH, CySA+, GICSP, SSCP, CHFI, CFR, Cloud+ or CND) within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and design efforts of cybersecurity solutions and service offerings for federal networks.
• Coordinate with a team of experts to translate customer IT needs into secure implementation plans.
• Guide the team through network and systems design, balancing security with mission needs.
• Lead cybersecurity technologies across domains including IoT, Cloud security, A&O, IAM, and ML.
• Collaborate with proposal teams to develop high-quality implementation roadmaps.
